Effective Family First Foundation ("the Foundation", "we", "us"), Family First Guidance Centre, Jama Masjid Building, Janjiker Street, Chippi Chawl, Kalbadevi, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400002, runs Family First Guidance Centre ("the Centre") and the website https://familyfirstguidance.com. The Foundation decides how your personal information is used and is responsible for it. People come to us at difficult moments in their lives, and we take the privacy of what they share seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 in mind.
1. What we collect
When you send an enquiry
Your name, email address, mobile number, city and state, the service you are asking about, and your message.
When you book a session
Your name, gender, date of birth or age group, marital status, WhatsApp number, email address, city, state and country, the area you need help with, a short description of your concern, and how you heard about us. We also keep a record of your payment (amount, date and Razorpay reference) and the date, time and counsellor of your session.
When you visit the Centre
Reception records visitors in a visitor book: name, mobile number, the reason for the visit and whom you have come to meet, and the times you arrived and left. A photo may be taken for the Centre's security, with your agreement.
During counselling
Your counsellor may keep brief notes of each session so that your care continues properly from one session to the next.
Automatically, when you use the website
Your IP address and the time of your visit, which we use to stop spam and misuse of our forms. The website also uses Google Analytics, which places cookies to count visits and see which pages are useful. It does not tell us who you are.
2. Payments
Payments are handled by Razorpay. Your card, UPI or bank details go straight to Razorpay and are never seen or stored by us. Razorpay's own privacy policy applies to the information you give them.
3. Why we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange your counselling.
- To take payment, send you a receipt, and handle any refund.
- To send you the details of your session by email, WhatsApp, phone or SMS.
- To give you continuing care across sessions.
- To keep the Centre and the website safe, and to stop spam and fraud.
- To understand, as anonymous totals, how many people we help and in which areas, so we can plan our services.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
We will not send you marketing messages unless you have asked for them. You can stop them at any time by telling us.
4. Who can see it
Only the Centre's staff and your counsellor, and only as far as they need to help you. We do not sell or rent your information to anybody. We share it only:
- with Razorpay, to process your payment;
- with the companies that run our website hosting, email and WhatsApp messaging, who handle it only on our instructions;
- where there is a serious risk to someone's life or safety; or
- where the law requires us to.
5. How we keep it safe
The website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Our records are kept in a password-protected system that only authorised staff can reach, and each counsellor sees only their own clients.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and booking records for as long as we need them to help you, and after that for as long as the law requires for payment and accounting records. Enquiries that turn out to be spam are deleted. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, as explained below.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct anything that is wrong or out of date;
- delete your information, unless the law requires us to keep it; and
- stop contacting you.
To do any of these, email familyfirstguidance@gmail.com or call +91 78378 33888. We may ask you to confirm who you are first, and we will reply within 30 days.
8. Children
We do not knowingly take information from anyone under 18 except through a parent or guardian, who books on their behalf.
9. Cookies
The website uses only the cookies it needs to work (for example, to keep a staff member signed in) and Google Analytics cookies to count visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the website will still work for booking and enquiries.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
